Mariah Murray

Biography

Mariah Murray is a UAV safety and operations specialist with a diverse background in strategic planning, organisational design, and clean tech innovation. As Vice President of Operations at AVSS (Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions), she plays a pivotal role in enabling FAA compliance for drone flight over people under Category 2 and 3, spearheading the development of both hardware and software tools that ensure UAV missions are executed safely and efficiently.

With nearly a decade of leadership experience across tech and operations, Mariah previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Castaway Golf Technologies, a company focused on sustainable solutions for golf ball recovery. She also worked as an organisational designer at Symplicity Designs, where she honed her skills in collaborative problem-solving and change facilitation.

Mariah holds a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick and is fluent in English with working knowledge of French. Her approach to innovation is rooted in user-centric design, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for advancing the safe integration of UAVs into commercial operations.
