Matthew Hill

Biography

Matt is General Manager for Gotonomi – the company responsible for developing and manufacturing the range of ultra-compact Velaris terminals that operate on the Viasat L-Band network. In partnership with the Viasat AAM team, he is responsible for leading the growth of Gotonomi as it works to equip UAV OEMs and operators with the critical comms to enable BVLoS missions to scale.

Gotonomi is part of TTP plc – a world leading product development consultancy that has enjoyed a 10+ year relationship with Viasat and Inmarsat, as the original architects for the BGAN Radio Module.

Prior to working at Gotonomi Matt worked in other areas of Deeptech – with Evonetix, a biotech start up developing a DNA synthesis platform, and 12 years at Cambridge Consultants in both UK and US. After graduating with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Durham, Matt worked in F1 for 9 years with Cosworth Racing.
