Camille Hoisington

Biography

Camille Hoisington is Vice President of Ecosystem Development at Traverse Connect, Northern Michigan’s lead economic development organization. Based at the heart of the Great Lakes, Camille leads the growth of the region’s bluetech, advanced aerial mobility, and rural asset industry clusters, while advancing Northern Michigan’s broader innovation ecosystem.

She built her career in New York City, serving as Director of Innovation Network at the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, where she launched the Make It in Brooklyn initiative to support entrepreneurs and the Living Lab program to pilot smart city technologies in real-world settings. She previously served as Program Director at global startup hub 1776 and as Community Manager at the Urban Future Lab, New York City’s cleantech and smart cities incubator.

Camille holds a B.A. in Natural Science and an M.Litt. in Geography from Trinity College, Dublin.
