Amin ELMRABTI

Biography

Amin received a Software Engineer degree in 2006 and a PhD in Computer Science and Embedded Systems in 2010 from the University of Grenoble in France. He has more than 18 years of experience developing embedded and safety-critical systems.  Between 2010 and 2022, Amin led the development, management, and certification of industrial and safety-critical software projects for several industrial companies across various sectors, including avionics and medical devices.

In 2016, he co-founded Hionos and served as its Chief Technology Officer until 2019. During this period, he played a key role in developing a certifiable drone autopilot solution compliant with avionics standards, addressing reliability and safety issues in UAS.  In 2020, he assumed responsibility for operations and certification management. Following Hionos’s integration into CubePilot in late 2025 through its European subsidiary, CubePilot France, he continues to lead operations while overseeing the development and certification of safety equipment for UAS.
