Biography

Telecommunications Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the telco industry, currently serving as Head of B2B Innovation at Telefónica, where he also continues to lead the company’s drone strategy and Drone as a Service initiative.

Over the past few years, he has led Telefónica’s drone strategy and development, driving its evolution from early 5G trials to the creation and commercial launch of Drone as a Service, an end-to-end service combining connected drones, remote BVLOS operations, connectivity, digital platforms, artificial intelligence and regulatory management.

In this role, he has also led the development of a decentralised remote piloting model authorised by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), as well as the deployment of drone-based solutions for emergency response, wildfire prevention and response, security and infrastructure inspection.

In his current role, he focuses on identifying emerging technologies and turning them into scalable solutions that deliver real value for customers and businesses.
