Claudia Romeo Gurrea-Nozaleda

Biography

Claudia Romeo Gurrea-Nozaleda is a computer engineer, graduated from Cardiff University (UK), drone pilot and entrepreneur passionate about transforming how we access and operate in the airspace. She has over 1,200 certified flight hours and extensive experience managing complex UAS operations in restricted airspace, urban environments, and high-security public events.

In 2018, driven by the growing operational and legal complexity of the drone sector, she founded Net2Fly with a clear mission: to professionalise UAS operations and make airspace more accessible, safe, and efficient. Through her work with institutions, broadcasters and government agencies, Claudia experienced first-hand the challenges of coordinating missions in highly regulated environments — from military zones and protected natural areas to national ceremonies.

This led to the creation of Certidron, a platform that automates UAS risk assessment, mission planning and regulatory compliance.

In 2023, she received the CDTI Neotec Women Entrepreneurs grant, and today Net2Fly supports approximately 10% of professional drone operations in Spain. Alongside her work in Net2Fly, Claudia is also an active mentor and speaker, advocating for the integration of women in aerospace.
