Dr. Analiza Abdilla

Biography

Dr Analiza Abdilla is an Inspector at the Civil Aviation Authority in Malta, where she is responsible for managing UAS and U-Space, eVTOLs and IAM/AAM. After obtaining a first degree in electrical engineering from the University of Malta, Analiza worked as a research engineer at a local Marine Software Engineering Cluster of Excellence, where she was responsible for managing innovative marine-related software systems projects. She then moved to Bristol to pursue a doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering, where she focussed on optimising the endurance and capabilities of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and subsequently worked for at the Defence Equipment and Support branch of the Ministry of Defence, on the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and the Eurofighter Typhoon. Analiza joined TM-CAD upon returning to Malta in 2019.
