Biography
John has spent over 30 years working in the acquisition and application of geospatial data in numerous markets, including 25 years with Ordnance Survey before joining KOREC Group.
Having worked with some the world’s best known geo-platforms like Apple, Google, Amazon and Microsoft in enabling new services, and working with Mobileye on extracting geo-intelligence from ADAS technology. John has a history of challenging current practices and expectations in geodata acquisition and application.
As Head of Mapping & GIS at KOREC Group, John collaborates with professionals in surveying, construction, and asset management using advanced land and aerial technologies, including drones. By providing precise and cost-effective geo-insights, he helps clients make informed investment decisions and optimise operational outcomes.
