Khushboo Wadhwani

Biography

Khushboo is a Principal Research Engineer at the Applied Research and Technology (ART) group of Collins Aerospace in Cork, Ireland. With a strong foundation in systems engineering, she focuses on advancing concepts, requirements, and architectures for U-space, UTM, and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystems.

Over the past four years, Khushboo has been actively engaged in shaping the U-space landscape—developing workflows, algorithms, and technology roadmaps to enable scalable and safe integration of unmanned and advanced air systems into shared airspace. Her work bridges technical design, regulatory frameworks, and standardization efforts, contributing to the future of connected and automated flight operations.

Prior to her current role, she gained experience in Full-Flight Simulator development for civil aviation and in IT systems design and deployment. She holds degrees in Aerospace Systems Engineering, specializing in Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), and in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Driven by curiosity and passion for aerospace innovation, Khushboo continues to explore how emerging technologies can transform urban and aerial mobility at scale.
