Kyle Snyder

Biography

Kyle Snyder is the Aviation Business Development Director for Kongsberg Geospatial. For more than 25 years, he has served in a variety of roles focusing on the advancement of drones and data-centric aviation transportation management. Kyle embraces sitting at the intersection of technology development, new market creation, operational integration, regulatory alignment, and social acceptance of new capabilities. He supports the responsible use of autonomous systems for transportation and operations in our daily lives by encouraging the adoption of digital infrastructure for communications, situational awareness, and information analytics.

Kyle has his BA in Math and Computer Science from Catawba College (1996) and two masters degrees from the University of Tennessee (Math MS 1998, Aerospace MBA 2005).

Kyle leverages 3 decades of experience in the autonomous systems and aerospace sectors developing and fielding technologies that challenge our understanding of what is possible. His career journey is a unique path that has provided rare insights, priceless relationships, technical and historical breakthroughs, and uncountable lessons learned. In 2025 he joined the Kongsberg Geospatial team to lead industry engagement activities for deploying advanced aviation programs using their airspace situational awareness software and integration services. He believes flight is inspirational; human and machine autonomy are vital; and with the right plan and the right team, we can make anything happen.
