Malachy Bradley

Biography

Malachy Bradley is a Deputy City Planner at Dublin City Council. He has worked for over 23 years continuously as a professional planner in various roles in Irish local government and has been operating at a senior strategic level in the planning system since 2007. During his years of working in senior management, Malachy has attained valuable experience in a number of environments in terms of workforce planning, corporate functions, resources, budget, procurement and workload management.

He has represented his various employers in chambers with elected members, in committees with TDs, in court, in oral hearings and to the media. Malachy has also presented at national and international conferences and events to external audiences, and delivered training events to elected members and the wider planning profession.

Malachy has been involved in national representative groups through the LGMA, with the NTA and various government departments and has also served for over 2 years on the Council of the IPI where he established and chaired the Transport Planning Committee.
