Biography
T/Superintendent Taryn Evans is responsible for the National Police Chief’s Council BVLOS Pathway Programme, the objective of which to is to achieve safe, effective and efficient drone use in support of policing operations across the country. Part of this involves trialling Drone as First Responder (DFR) in several cities across the UK to evaluate the benefit of autonomous drones to community safety. Her background in policing includes conventional air support (helicopters); intelligence and counter-terrorism.
