Biography

Teresa Hudson is a seasoned emergency services professional serving as Station Officer within the Organisational Intelligence Unit of Dublin Fire Brigade. With a robust background in firefighting, advanced paramedicine, and emergency medical education, she plays a critical role in frontline response, strategic preparedness, and internal training initiatives.

 

Teresa is an Advanced Paramedic and PHECC-accredited tutor, with deep experience in both operational command and medical emergency response. Her multidisciplinary expertise combines technical rescue, advanced pre-hospital care, and professional instruction; making her an invaluable asset in both high-pressure incidents and organisational development contexts.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Paramedic Science from the University of Limerick, a Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology from University College Dublin, and a Diploma in Training and Education from Maynooth University.

 

Teresa is passionate about professional development within emergency services and is recognised for her leadership in fostering resilience, competence, and best practice in one of Ireland’s busiest urban response agencies.
